Initial Setup

Can anyone subscribe to Bloom?

Yes if you are of legal adult age or older, you can subscribe to Bloom.

Register, verify and enter your Name, Date of Birth, Email Address and Mobile Phone Number (for OTP) and you are successfully set up. You can now add and update additional sections.

You can create a new user account by clicking “Register Here” or tap on any of Facebook, Google, Amazon or Apple icons to auto-login with your social media credentials. Once logged in, create a New Account on Bloom by following the steps.

Using the App

How many doctors/providers can be added to my record?

There is no restriction on the number of doctors that can be added. You can add as many as required by your medical needs.

The medication function allows you to maintain medication tracking not only for prescriptions but also enables you to add any supplements or other over-the-counter medication like vitamins, natural and alternate medication that you might be taking to assess the overall impact on health.

There is a predefined list of standard labs that are available within the app. If a specific lab report is not available you can use “Other” and provide the Lab details as part of notes. Lab results can be uploaded into the app either using a photo or loading a PDF file of the results if available.

Yes, you can. A dependent in Bloom is defined as someone you are taking care of. A family member (Minor and/or Adult, your Pet) can be added as a  Dependent. An adult dependent must authorize and approve a request to add them as a dependent to your Bloom account. If the dependent is a minor or a pet then by adding them you are authorizing to Bloom that you are either the natural  parent or legal guardian.

Yes, you can add your pet(s) as a dependent and track their medical records/history in Bloom.

Yes, you can take a picture and upload information from your insurance card or manually feed the information. You can do the same for the dependents too.

Yes, the app allows for all the same information and functionality of the primary subscriber to be maintained for the dependents. The same features are applicable.

Yes, you can restrict permissions to access specified data and dates as per your choice to share with the added individuals or any other you decide to share with. This is the responsibility of an individual subscriber, and Bloom does not access or infer any decisions on the user’s behalf.

In the “More” page, tap on “Settings,“ then “Sharing & Privacy,” then “Chosen Social Media Settings,” then “Disconnect from Facebook, Google, Amazon and Apple.”

To connect your Apple Watch or Fitbit, go to the My Profile page. Scroll down to My Wearables and select your Fitness device. Then, enter your username and password for that app to allow Bloom to connect to it.

Sharing Medical Information

Can I share the app with a friend or family member?

Yes, we allow for sharing the app. There is a share Bloom function on the app’s Additional Options menu,  where  you can easily invite anyone you would like to join and participate in the health journey! Text Share with applicable links to Android and iOS and additionally via Invite via QR Code.

Yes, please submit what you would like to share of your health journey on Bloom Pariwaar. You can also share YouTube videos that will be made available on the Bloom Pariwar channel on YouTube.

Yes, you can share either selected or complete medical history from Bloom either using email or directly through Bloom via a QR code.

Security of Your Data

How is personal data stored in Bloom?

Personal data is stored securely on Amazon Health Cloud which is encrypted on HIPAA and DISHA-compliant servers. Your data is never shared with any third parties (for example employers, insurance companies, or brokerage firms.)

As per the HIPAA and DISHA compliance and privacy policy, Bloom will not be able to access personal data stored in the secure cloud. Our security audits are in place, and appropriate protocols are followed for compliance.

Once you  unsubscribe, we will provide you with the option to keep your data for a year if you decide to rejoin. If you choose to choose to permanently cancel, we  will delete the data immediately.

Yes, you may cancel your subscription at any time. It takes 24 hours before it takes effect. Paid-for options will cancel at the next billing charge, which should be at least 5 business days before your renewal period. Access and features will remain available to you until the end of your current paid subscription period, regardless of when you cancel the automatic renewal.
